Tax and customs benefits
FEZ residents are provided with customs and tax benefits and the ability to simplify any procedures as much as possible. Participants of Navoi Free Economic Zone are exempt from paying:
Land tax
Property tax
Tax for the use of water resources
Custom payments
- Custom payments (except for value-added tax and customs clearance fees) for construction materials not produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan and imported under the established procedure for the implementation of the investment project by the investment agreement during the construction period; - Custom payments (except for customs clearance fees) for the import of technological equipment analogues of which are not produced in the Republic of Uzbekistan, according to the approved list. - Custom payments (except for customs clearance fees) are not paid when participants of special economic zones import raw materials, materials, and components used for the production and sale of products for export into the territory of the Republic of Uzbekistan.
Participants of special economic zones have the right to receive a deferred payment of value added tax while importing goods for up to 120 days.
The above benefits are provided for a period of 3 to 10 years, depending on the volume of investments made, including the equivalent:
